Road to the Promise Land

Road to the Promise Land

Because of the 6th anniversary of the outbreak of the Syrian civil war, you will be able to join all those who flee from the horror and the bombs in their hard journey to Europe through this interactive map. We will leave the Syrian capital, Damascus, we will cross the most populous refugee camp in Jordan. We will know the living conditions of the migrants in Egypt, the business of the mafias in Libya and finally we will cross the Mediterranean Sea to Europe.
Although it will not be the journey of your dreams, it is necessary to know the situation of the Syrian refugees.

Syrian refugees at Turkey-Syria border...epa04791762 A picture taken from the Turkish side of the border between Turkey and Syria shows Syrian refugees waiting on the Syrian side of the border crossing near Akcakale, Sanliurfa province, south-eastern Turkey, 10 June 2015. More than 320,000 people are likely to have been killed in Syria's civil war, the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group said on 09 June. The organization said said it had been able to document the deaths of 230,618 people, including 69,494 civilians of whom more than 7,000 were children. The crisis in Syria started in March 2011 with peaceful demonstrations calling for more freedom from the repressive al-Assad regime, but quickly degenerated into violence after deadly crackdowns by security forces.
